Evil McAfee update is locking users out of their Computers, Don't Update!

If you use the McAfee antivirus software and get prompted to update to the latest version PLEASE do not update, reports around the internet say that an Update to Dat 5958 is killing SVCHOST.exe.

Before reading any further I would just like to say that if you, like me got this nasty virus and would like to get rid of it immediately use the same software I used to remove it by Clicking Here! but if you would like to keep reading about it while it quickly eats away at the precious data on your computer then by all means read on.

Many numerous reports are coming up, mainly across Twitter and Facebook with people saying that they are not able to access their computers after the update because of this problem, and others get Blue Screen Of Death’s as soon as the McAfee antivirus software has started running. Currently it seems to be only Windows XP SP3 systems that are affected by this problem with no reports of problems with Windows Vista and 7 users. If you have this problem the only solution is to downgrade the client to 5957 and restore SVCHOST.exe.

Update: We've had confirmation that it does ONLY affect Windows XP SP3 users, people with Vista RTM and above and Windows 7 should have no problems.
Update 2: Engadget has had a statement from McAfee saying that they’ve pulled the update from their servers and the new consumers should not need to worry about being affected.

They may have updated their DAT files today, but if you did receive the DAT already, you're screwed. Thousands of computers need to be manually corrected before they access their network or Internet to download the updated/correct DATs Way to go McAfee!

If you are one of the people that got screwed over by McAfee and Desperately need a virus protection software that you can trust Click Here! to repair you're computer immediately!

Haiti Falls Victim To Yet Another Earthquake

Devastation rocks the poverty stricken country of Haiti for a second time this morning. With more damages and death tolls continuing to be on the rise we are all left wondering when this terrifying tragedy will be over.

The fallout after the earthquakes has left many Haitians hungry and homeless but as more and more americans, including hollywood, singers, and youtube stars hear about Haiti our hearts begin to open and pour out to them in there time of need.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars have already been donated by schools and other organizations to relief funds to Haiti after the first earthquake but the latest quake has made things more difficult, toppling more house and putting even more haitians out on the streets with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the fear of more earthquakes to keep them warm at night.
